Some companies think they can simply lie to us and we’ll simply go away, without realising that we always catch them out. DFDS was one such company. In May last year, following immense pressure from supporters and customers, they issued a statement claiming that they will not transport any animals for research purposes.
They lied to us, they lied to their customers but most of all they betrayed the animals.
NAVA has obtained information that this Friday DFDS Seaways, operating under their Norfolk Line brand, will conduct a shipment of animals for British laboratories. The consignment is of minipigs, being transported from Dunkirk to Dover on behalf of Danish breeder Ellegaard Gottingen.
Will you sit back and allow them to get away with it? Only action will stop them! Make calls, send emails, organise demos and most of all let DFDS know that they cannot get away with propping up the vivisection industry.
